Built by a camp director.
Thirty years in camping, fifteen of them as the director of a council scout camp.
The founder’s view is that the paper health forms and the morning lost to the money are camp problems, not scout problems: an overnight camp, a day camp or a church camp has the same cabinet and the same morning. So CAMPPS started with scout camps and is built for youth camps.
It is new. Each camp sets itself up in CAMPPS, and readiness says what is left before it can publish.

Three mornings most camp directors know.
The cabinet of paper health forms.
Forms came in on Sunday and were checked by hand for the same handful of mistakes. In CAMPPS the parent’s form catches them as they type, and the office sees who is unfinished, grouped by who to call.
60 forms to chase at Heron Lake this week, in 19 calls
The morning spent reconciling money by hand.
CAMPPS does not keep the camp’s whole budget. It keeps every registration dollar straight: each payment matched to the families it covers, a check recorded once, every fee its own line.
40 payments, $18,035.00, since Friday, each matched
Saturday-morning merit-badge records.
Counselors sign off requirements on their phones during the week, and the unit leader sees them the same day.
Swimming, Session 1: 5 partials by requirement, known before Saturday
How support works.
Through Help inside CAMPPS, with a one-business-day target. There is no phone line.
- How to ask
- Use Help inside CAMPPS, from any screen.
- Parents
- Parents reach your camp office first. CAMPPS help is for trouble signing in or paying.
- What support can see
- Your camp’s setup, readiness and sign-in problems, only when you ask for help. Support never sees a child’s name, anyone’s contact details, health forms or payment details.
